If you would like the password to test it and ensure that you'll be able to open the yearbook file, email me (Mr. Georgy-Embree) to request the password. You will find my address on the right hand side of this page under Email Addresses. You must properly identify yourself in the email.

We Made It!
Neither rain, nor rain, nor rain nor more rain will keep us from Thetis Island! We have safely arrived, are bringing our gear to the cabins, and will then head to dinner. Here's hoping for some sunny weather tomorrow!

Baby Pictures
It's time to bring in those baby pictures for the year end slideshow. You can either email it to your teacher (high resolution) or bring in a hard copy for scanning (it will be returned). Remember one picture per student and try to get something that really shows off your cuteness!

Shoes: the new policy
After spring break we expect all students will:
- haveinside shoes
- have outside shoes
- change from inside to/from outside shoes at the school doors
For some reason, dirt loves to travel in to our school by catching a ride on students' shoes. We hope this action will make our school a cleaner place.

Egg Drop: Wednesday
On Wednesday the grade 7 class hosts the annual egg drop. Themed after cartoons and comics, eggs will fly from the middle school roof shortly after 11:00am. Bring an umbrella. Students should bring their devices in a plastic bag to protect them from the rain. You can learn more about the egg drop and its rules here.

Eric Walters
Today Eric Walters came and spoke to our grade 6 and 7 students at the Surrey Public Library (Fleetwood Branch). While talking about his books, he also gave some great advice to students with great lines like: "Please do not pass up the opportunity to do the right thing!" You can learn more about Eric and his books at http://www.ericwalters.net/ericwalters/homepage.html. You can also check out some of his contributions on YouTube such as Alexandria of Africa:

character? A portion is fine. Remember we have just chosen a theme for you.
Can we use electronics?
Nope. This is a free fall
