Important News on the Grade 7 Farewell
A letter should have gone home today outlining some important details regarding the upcoming farewell evening. It also had the order form for grade 7 grad-wear.

Grad 7 Meeting
When? Wednesday, June 22, 2011, starting @ 6:00pm till around 8:30pm (party from 9:00-11:00pm)
Where? Middle School Gym
Format? Dessert Evening
Media Show? baby pictures & now pictures
Grad certificates? Yes
Group photo of grade 7? Yes
Banner? No
Suggested dress? Semi-formal (no jeans) You should be able to wear it again.
After party? School provides the gym
After the ceremony? Tables, down with decorations, snacks, party
Theme? black, white, purple
Grad wear? Baseball t-shirts perhaps (signed)
Music? No DJ, iPod playlist
Playland? Students pay, decision to be made, parents drivers needed (~$35), attendance optional
Parent volunteers needed to take down tables
Yearbook? Survey to follow to be included in yearbook
Questions:
Do grade 8 students get hoodies? No
For the grade dress is there a dress code? Covers for strapless (e.g. sweater)
How short can dresses be? Not too short.
Can straps be worn? Yes, but not spaghetti straps.
Can we wear heels? Wear something in which you’re comfortable?
